Knowing the odds of winning the lottery are against he and his colleagues’ weekly lottery pool, the discipline-driven Max decides to take matters into his own hands, pocketing his colleagues’ cash and forging team lottery tickets, until one day when the numbers on the fake ticket win.
Max makes decisions based on fact, and Max knows he and his colleagues’ lottery pool will never win. Profiting off his colleagues’ stupidity, Max pockets the cash from each week’s lottery pool and provides fraudulent copies of lottery tickets to his teammates. One week, the forged ticket wins, his team quits, burning all their bridges. Max must collect the $20 million his team believes they won before anyone discovers his scam.
